The game is an minigame collection, You play as Steve (Played by Jack Black) in the first minigame which is called The Mines and the objective is to mine as much as you can until you find the orb, After you finish the first minigame you move onto the second minigame called The Orb which is a driving minigame that you play as Garrett the Garbageman Garrison (Played by Jason Momoa), The next minigame called The Portal which is a minigame where you are supposed to follow the correct directions of the orb, you play as Henry and Garrett the Garbageman Garrison in this minigame, After that minigame, you unlock the next mini game called Survival Mode where are you are supposed to survive the night by building shelter, The next minigame is a cooking minigame called Steves Lava Chicken where you are supposed to make the lava chicken as good and spicy as possible, if you succeed this mini game, a cutscene which features the song Steves Lava Chicken from the movie will play which will unlock a bonus minigame called Find More Gold! where you play as a piglin trying to find more gold, The first boss battle is called Fight the Piglins! which you are supposed to fight off the piglins in the village. The next mini-game is called Path to the Woodland Mansion which you fly to find the Woodland Mansion and avoid the piglins. The next minigame is called Birthday Rap, which is a rhythm minigame on almost every platform except for the Xbox 360 which it is a dancing minigame. The second boss battle is called Chicken Jockey which you play as Garrett the Garbageman Garrison (Played by Jason Momoa) and are supposed to fight a baby zombie riding on a chicken, The next mini-game is called Saving the Overworld where the goal is to build to save the overworld, the third and final boss battle is called Malghosa VS Steve, You play as Steve (Played by Jack Black) and the goal is to defeat Malghosa, That ends the game and unlocks a special version of Minecraft made for this game.
