While starting a video game, Jeremy gets sucked inside the game, it's up to Candace & Stacy to rescue him from Dark Matter.

In SEGA CD and SEGA 32X, Nintendo Game Boy, Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Sega Genesis, Sega Game Gear and Atari Jaguar, is a Side-scrolling, you can run, walk, punch enemies.

Candace and Stacy's Great Adventure was originally planned for the PlayStation version in 1995, but later it was moved to SEGA Saturn, SEGA CD, SEGA 32X and PC, Later on, Sunblu Software's development company ported the rest of the platforms along with Bloo: The Game.
