Candy Star is a Visual Novel and simulation game released in 2005 developed by Stargazer Studios and published and distributed by Rockstar Games. The story mode is a Visual Novel About a teenagers overnight rise to fame and the problems that come from it. The simulation mode is a fame sim where you build fame by releasing music,staring in photoshoots and arrasing controversy. The games simulator mode has been credited with being the main inspiration for games like Kim Kardashian Hollywood with it's 2D animated assets and characters and mix of linear story events and sandbox style gameplay.
