- This game is dedicated to R. Lee Ermey, Wa-Wa's voice actor, who passed away in 2018.
- In addition, the game is also dedicated to Mel Winkler, the original voice of Aku Aku, who voiced him in the original version of the game, who passed away on June 11th, 2020, like with Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time.
