Darkrai City is the second world/level that appears in Dreams of Despair. It is home to a lot of characters that originated from Darkstalkers. Danny and Tori both find this world being devoured by the Dream Hunters who before were called the Nightmarians. This world also shows a appearance from Megaman, Dr. Light, Dr. Wily and Dante.

Danny's Part[]
When Danny and Tori first arrive to the place they notice the buildings being devoured. After that they get into altercations with creatures called the Nightmarian-Dream Eaters made by the Nightmarians themselves. Tori tells Danny they need to split up and find clues, So Danny is now on his own. On his own he encounters a young women that bears relationship with a bat and demon.
She is revealed to be a Succubus named Morrigan Aensland. They both team up to help the city and themselves from the Dream Eaters and Nightmarians. With the new help of Morrigan they seem to be getting everything all good. On there way they see a black portal that is devouring everything in it's site.
