Disney's Bambi is a 2D platformer game based on the 1942 movie of the same name. It was developed by Eurocom in association with Virgin Games USA and published by Virgin Interactive and Disney Interactive, and was planned to be released on the SNES, Sega Genesis, PlayStation, Game Boy, Sega Game Gear, and Windows 95 in 1995. However, due to Mickey Mania releasing around the same time as the Bambi game, Disney made the decision to cancel it in it's wishes to not have the latter game compete with the former game in sales.
Plot[]
Same as the film.

Reception[]
In May 2012, a nearly-completed prototype of the game was leaked onto the internet, specifically for the SNES, Sega Genesis, and PlayStation versions. The only things that were left uncompleted were most of the end credits after beating the last level and some of the game over screens after losing all your lives in a level.
Trivia[]
- After the cancellation of the 1995 Bambi game, there was no Bambi games put into development for quite some time, because Disney felt that they just couldn't find a way to actually make a Bambi game successfully, and with a lot of effort, too. It wasn't until 10 years later in 2005 that Disney, along with Sierra, announced Bambi: The Fawn's Journey to the public, and became a success when it was released.
