Friday the 13th: The Rise of Jason is a 2019 Video Game created by Shinji Mikami and developed by Rockstar Games along with Tango Gameworks. The game will feature vocie work from Nolan North, Kelly Hu, Vincent Martella and Grey DeLisle.

The game will be rated M for blood and gore, strong violence and strong language.

Synopsis[]

A few years after the mysterious drowning of Jason Voorhees, a group of campers stays at Camp Blood for one night. But, what they don't know that you are watching. You are Jason.

Gameplay[]

The player takes on the role of Jason Voorhees, the hockey masked killer. It will have a open world just like Grand Theft Auto. You can explore Camp Crystal Lake, Manhattan and Springwood (From Nightmare On Elm Street). Manhattan is a crowded place, so you can go on killing sprees.

Things in the environment can be destroyed (except for buildings). The weapons Jason has are his trademark machette and an axe. (More weapons can be picked up to use for the killing sprees).

You can use anything in the environment to have an advantage in the killing sprees. For example, if you broken some glass, you can pick it up for your next victim. The deaths will be filled with lots of blood and gore, just like the film.

Jason can also grab a victim and throw the victim off something. There are also hockey masks for you to collect to unlock challenge maps, concept art and exclusive game trailers.

Even though Jason has great power, he is not invincible. The police will find out who has caused the killings and hunt you down. You can either flee or fight, but once Jason is shot, he can be killed instantly and respawn.

Jason will also be able to drive cars and use them to run over his victims.

Modes[]
