Gamecast (known as Gamecast: Gaming-on-Demand) is a microconsole dedicated to cloud gaming (game-on-demand). Similar to most microconsoles, it ran on a modified version of Linux. It uses NVidia's Tegra X1 as a SoC for this console. It includes the Gamecast service, which as a cloud gaming service that plays video games on demand. The console is scheduled to be released on the middle of August 2016.

The Gamecast is a cloud-based microconsole, it runs a modified version of Linux. The Gamecast features an octa-core NVidia Tegra X1 SoC, plus 3GB internal memory and 16GB of internal storage. The Gamecast natively supports 4K video. The Gamecast includes a service called Gamestream, which as a cloud gaming service that plays video games on demand.
