Half Past Dead is a third-person shooter game released in 2003 for the PlayStation 2 and XBOX, developed by Cor-Son Games in-cooperation with Radical Entertainment, and published by Sierra Entertainment through Vivendi Universal Games. It's a tie-in to the film of the same name released in 2002, and it was going to be released two days after the film was released, but was held over due to the programers feeling that it wasn't ready yet.

Gameplay[]

The game recreates scenes from the movie, but adds additional content to pad out the length.

Reception[]

The game received mixed to generally mediocre reviews, though it's important to note the reception from the game was better than what the film it was based on received. A bulk of the gameplay mechanics were criticized, but critics were impressed with the graphics and praised the story, but also felt that keeping close with the plot of the movie brought it down to a degree.
