Gameplay[]
Kid Icarus: The Battle of Skyworld plays on the mix of Soul Calibur & Pokken Tournament.
Characters[]
- Pit - The main protagonist of the game. He uses the attacks he borrowed from Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Kid Icarus: Uprising and SSB4.
- Palutena - Goddess of Light and Ruler of Skyworld. Her moveset consist of Special Moves and Custom Moves from SSB4.
- Magnus - He is the strongest of the human race and a master swordsman. A powerful close-combat fighter.
- Viridi - Goddess of Nature. She was the leader of the Forces of Nature. Although she was never fought by Pit in Kid Icarus: Uprising, Viridi use nature-based magic as her attacks.
- Cragalanche - Cragalanche is a slow but powerful warrior who uses Earth-based attacks as well as brute strength.
- Arlon - Despite his refined personality, Arlon is a powerful fighter. Arlon's lunar powers allow him to levitate, fire bolts of lunar energy at opponents, and darken the environment to claim the element of surprise.
- Phosphora - This fast and agile fighter has the power to manipulate electricity for a number of purposes.
- Pyrrhon - the self-proclaimed Sun God who sees himself as a champion of justice. Uses fire-based attacks to his advantage.
Bosses[]
- Dark Pit - Sub-boss. Like Pit, he uses a moveset he borrowed from Kid Icarus: Uprising and SSB4.
- Dark Palutena - Mid-Boss & Original Character. Her moveset is similar to Palutena's but her Critical Finish is different.
- Medusa - The main antagonist of the game. As the game's final boss, she uses her attacks that are taken from Kid Icarus: Uprising.
- Monstrous Medusa - Medusa's 2nd form. She fights just like in Kid Icarus: Uprising. If the Player defeats her without using any continues, Hades will challenge the player to fight the Dark Four.
The Dark Four[]
- Amazon Pandora - Pandora's true form. She uses her attack she borrowed from Kid Icarus: Uprising. If defeated by Dark Pit, he uses his Dark Pit Staff to finish her off, destroying her completely.
- Thanatos - The God of Death. Uses his shape-shifting abilities to allow him to preform different attacks. If deafeated by Phosphora, she fire her large lightning orb at Thanatos, killing him instantly.
- Dark Lord Gaol - The Dark Lord who can fight just like in Kid Icarus: Uprising. If the player uses Magnus, he'll deliver the final blow.
- Hades - The Ruler of the Underworld. He is the game's true final boss.
