Koopa Troopas are turtle-like creatures with shells that come in different colors. Green and Red Koopa Troopas are the most common colors; green ones walk back and forth without any concerns for pits or obstacles, while red ones do so without falling off platforms. Blue and Yellow Koopa Troopas are less common; blue ones act similar to red ones but move faster and will kick shells when they lose their shells instead of jumping into a new one, and yellow ones act like faster green ones, except they chase after Mario and will turn into a Flashing Shell when it finds a new one.

Koopa Kart series[]
Koopa Troopa is a lightweight character in the Koopa Kart series, being one of seven characters to appear in every game (the other six being Bowser, Dry Bones, Hammer Bro, Goomba, Monty Mole, and Paratroopa). His signature courses are Koopa Circuit courses, and his special item in Koopa Kart: Double Trouble!! is the Green Paratroopa Shell.
