The Nintendo Cross (JP) (known as the Project MAX in development) is a ninth generation home video game console released by Nintendo, and its eighth major home game console as the successor to the Nintendo Switch. Despite this classification, Nintendo markets the system mostly as a home console that can be played on the go rather than a dedicated portable handheld system. It is the second hybrid console/handheld console.


Introduction[]

The Nintendo Cross is the newest home/on the go hybrid console made by Nintendo. It is the successor to the Nintendo Switch. Like the switch, you can play it at home and on the go. However, unlike the Nintendo Switch, the Nintendo Cross, when docked, can run up to 4k resoultion, which is a step up from 1080p for the Switch. in Handheld Mode is at home or on the go, it still runs, at max, 1080p. Introduced the New Controller, Cross Controller The Gamepads return as the main controllers for this console but they are more color varients this time around. It will cost around $200, one of the cheapest home consoles to date. The console itself will be revealed June 15, 2021, and the software will be revealed during Nintendo Direct E3 2021, and also the software made a revealed a new console Black/White Nintendo Cross software will be revealed during E3 2022, with the console worldwide releasing November 18, 2022.

Virtual Console[]

After all these years, Virtual Console is back on a Nintendo Console. Now, you can enjoy games for the NES to DSGo, excluding the Nintendo Switch, on this service. From Super Mario Bros to Splatoon 1 to Luigi's Mansion for the GameCube to Metroid: Samus Returns for the 3DS to Inanimate Insanity: Soap's H²O Adventure for the DSGo, this Virtual Console service has it all. It will be available on launch day and each game will vary in price, ranging from $4.99 to $9.99. It will also have a menu similar to the Nintendo Switch Online Service NES games. Also, on the Virtual Console app, you can enjoy free games online for NES to DSGo. In the app, they vary in price, ranging from Free. The Nintendo Switch is not in the Virtual Console, despite that the Wii U and the 3DS are also backwards-compatible
