Nintendo VXDS[]

VXDS

VXDS

In early 2032, Nintendo started to consider a new XDS console, and after many years of working they did it. They wanted the console to have exclusives, that could only be played on it, and they wanted to change the idea of XDS completely. Nintendo in March finally released the console, however, it worked much more differently to the previous iterations, and actually worked more similar to that of the Wii U and Switch. The console was called VXDS because of the addition to it called Vicious. Unlike the XDS Pro, the console's ZL and ZR triggers were adaptive and Haptic, which gave it a great selling point. It also became the most sold console beating the PS2 with 200m sold. When this console released, Playstation, XBOX and Viernes were lagging behind, and this called for a change.

Specs[]

The console's upper screen and touchscreen were OLED 5.0 screens(the newest OLED screens at the time). The console could be played in handheld mode(on the go) or in Tv Mode, using the Vicious for that. The console ran at 9K, which was the highest resolution for any console at the time, and it made the sales boost through the roof.

XDS (Handheld)[]

The XDS itself could play Switch, 3DS, DS, and regular XDS games, but it could also play VXDS games which were only playable on the VXDS. The XDS could be connected to the Vicious, however to play Switch, 3DS, DS and XDS games.

Vicious (TV)[]

The Vicious could play Gamecube, Wii and Wii U games. But it also had its own separate line of games especially for it. It could also run at 9K 3600p, which is higher than regular 9K, and there is a big difference.

Cost[]

$750.00 USD was the cost of the console at launch. It was very weird, as the console only came with the XDS, the Vicious and the pro controller, and no Augmented Reality. However, you can still connect the Augmented Reality Glasses from previous models to the current.

Goofs[]

Something that was always poked at was that the new pro controller looked like a ps4 controller, and the layout was very similar. Somehow nintendo got away with it though.

Upon release, the Vicious was found with hardware powerful enough to run graphics higher than 9K, and it was also very good for modding.

Playing Modes[]

Vicious - Touchpad for touchscreen actions, and only use pro controllers(joycons and Nintendo Switch Pro Controllers also). No Augmented Reality Glasses, and only split screen.

XDS - Touch Screen for touchscreen actions, XDS and Pro Controller(s) and joycons. As Well as Augmented Reality Glasses.

Vicious and XDS - 2 Players(goes up to 6), Pro Controllers, XDS and joycons, Augment Glasses, 9K 3600p, and 3DS, DS & Switch Games on Vicious, and Wii, Wii U and Gamecube on XDS.
