- The video game has lots of differences compared to the movie:
- Shrek, Donkey, Fiona, Gingy, and Pinocchio make a few speaking cameos in the beginning, attending Puss' party in Del Mar.
- Gingy asks Pinocchio if Puss is at the party yet. Pinocchio tells him that he needs to be quiet.
- Shrek, Fiona, and Donkey listen to Puss' story about how he saved San Ricardo. They compliment it before the giant's attack.
- Pinocchio is captured by the Giant but he frees himself by lying about the giant not going to capture him.
- Gingy is almost crushed by the giant before Puss saves him with his Spanish Splinter.
- Shrek and Donkey congratulate Puss for saving the party and defeating the giant.
