The Game Team game RoboCop 3 was released to co-incide with the release of the movie RoboCop 3. Unfortunately, the movie currently holds a 4/100 % Liking rate on Rotten Tomatoes. This was the last game released on the Game Team, and for good reasons. The game was considered a failure. $100,000 were used on the making of this "killer app", and in the end the game was considered "slow", "sluggish" and "boring". The AI was also considered broken for the game. Because of these reasons, this was the last Game Team game.

Gameplay[]

"Robocop saves the day once more. This time the half man/half robot takes on ruthless developers who want to evict some people on their land." The game starts in a neighbourhood where RoboCop decides to beat up a few robbers breaking into houses. Immediately into playing, the attack buttons are located in the D-Pad. Up jumps, left side-kicks, right trips and down humps. At the end of the level you have to kill a drug dealer. After this, Robocop melodramatically holds up his detached skull and a bar says next level. The following levels include the factory, the drug alley, the basement and the final level......the building. The building is impossible to complete thanks to the game crashing soon after.

Reviews[]

RoboCop 3 received generally negative reviews.

Nintendo Power

There is not much good to say about this game. There are nice movies that turn into bad games, decent movies that turn into decent games (like 007 Tomorrow Never Dies for Playstation) but in this case a bad movie turned into a bad video game. How worse can it get? If you want to play a game with Robocop, try Robocop Vs Terminator for the Genesis. Avoid this mess at all costs! 1/10
