Classic Mode 64[]

This is a replica of the Classic Mode from Super Smash Bros. Players choose a character and go through 11 stages ending in a fight against Master Hand, with a bonus stage after stage 3, stage 6, then stage 9. Players can choose between five difficulties: Easy, Normal, Hard, Very Hard, or Intense, and can choose to give themselves one to five lives for the entire mode. Completing certain conditions on stages will earn bonus points, but there are some that can take away points. If you lose all your lives, you can restart, but it will cost you some bonus points.

The first fight is against Link on Hyrule Castle. Then the second is against a team of 18 lightweight Yoshi's on Super Happy Tree. Then a fight against Fox on Corneria. Then a bonus Break the Targets stage unique to each fighter with a 2 minute time limit. Then a fight against Mario and Luigi on Peach's Castle, then a fight against Pikachu on Saffron City. Then a fight with 2 randomly-selected CPU allies against a giant Donkey Kong.

Then a bonus Board the Platforms stage unique to each fighter with a 2 minute time limit. Then a fight against 8 lightweight Kirby's on Dream Land, each with the copy ability of either Mario, Donkey Kong, Link, Samus, Yoshi, Fox, Pikachu, and then the final one will either have the copy ability of Luigi, Captain Falcon, Ness, or Jigglypuff. Then a fight against Samus on Brinstar. Then a fight against Metal Mario on Meta Crystal. Then a bonus Race to the Finish stage. It challenges the player to descend five floors and reach the exit, while avoiding explosives, bumpers, and some of the Fighting Polygon Team. Unlike the other bonus stages, the player has only one minute to complete the stage.

Then a fight against 30 lightweight Fighting Polygons, low-poly copies of Mario, Donkey Kong, Link, Samus, Yoshi, Fox, Pikachu, Luigi, Captain Falcon, Ness, and Jigglypuff on Battlefield (64). Then the final stage is a fight against Master Hand on Final Destination (64), who is defeated by reducing his health to zero, he has 300 HP no matter the difficulty.

Classic Mode Melee[]

This is a replica of the Classic Mode from Super Smash Bros. Melee. Players choose a character and go through 11 stages: 7 fights, 3 bonus stages, and a final stage that ends the mode with a fight against Master Hand (And Crazy Hand depending on the situation). Players can choose between five difficulties: Easy, Normal, Hard, Very Hard, or Intense, and can choose one to give themselves one to five lives for the entire mode. Completing certain conditions on stages will earn bonus points, but there are some that can take away points. If you lose all your lives, you can restart, but it will cost you some bonus points. Unlike Classic Mode 64, where the CPU fighters were usually preset, the fighters in Classic Mode Melee are completely randomized. Only fighters you have unlocked can appear in this mode, once you unlock a fighter the game can choose them to appear in the mode. The fights usually take place on a stage from a series where the opponent originated from.

The first stage is a 1 vs. 1 battle with a 5 minute time limit. On Very Hard and Intense the opponent will wear the 4th costume. The second stage is a 2 vs. 2 battle with a 5 minute time limit. On Very Hard and Intense the first opponent will wear the 4th costume. The third stage is a bonus Break the Targets stage unique to each fighter with a 2 minute time limit.

The fourth stage is a 1 vs. 1 battle with a 5 minute time limit. The fifth stage is a 3 vs. 1 battle against a giant opponent with a 5 minute time limit. The sixth stage is a bonus stage: Snag the Trophies, where players are tasked with preventing three trophies from falling off the stage. The player is awarded any trophy they rescue, and getting all three yields an end-of-game bonus. The stage ends in failure if none of the trophies are saved, if players fall off the stage, or if the 2 minute time limit expires.

The seventh stage is a 1 vs. 1 battle with a 5 minute time limit. The eighth stage is against 10 lightweight opponents who are all the same fighter with a 5 minute time limit. The ninth stage is the final bonus stage: Race to the Finish, where players have to race through an obstacle course within a varied time limit. The farther the player makes it through Race to the Finish, the more points they receive, getting KO'd at any point or running out of time ends the stage.

The 10th stage is a 1 vs. 1 battle against a metal opponent with a 5 minute time limit on Battlefield (Melee). The eleventh and final stage is a fight against Master Hand on Final Destination (Melee), who is defeated by reducing his health to zero. On Easy he has 150 HP, on Normal, 250. On Hard, 330. On Very Hard, 360, and on Intense, 400. If the player is playing on Normal difficulty or higher and has made it to the final stage within 5 minutes and 50 seconds, then Crazy Hand will spawn when half of Master Hand's HP has been depleted. Crazy Hand's starting HP also depends with the difficulty (Normal, Hard, Very Hard, or intense), matching to the HP that Master Hand started with from the beginning.
