Aside from his render, victory pose & 1 of his taunts, the suicide references had to be toned down with Makoto not having to shoot himself with the Evoker to summon Orpheus or trigger his Final Smash.
If Great Seal is used to win a match, the unlucky opponent would be replace Makoto as the a statue on the gate akin to what happened to Makoto at the end of Persona 3, while Makoto walks away.
