This is a list of Assist Trophies that will feature in Super Smash Brothers. Rebound

Assist Trophies[]

Goombas - a Group of three Goombas spawn in, waddling across the stage. Occasionally, they might form a Goomba tower, but that's easy to deal with if you stomp on em before it happens.

Twomp - hovers in place far above where he was summoned. Slams down when someone gets too close.

Piranha Plant - occasionally pops in and out of the stage from a pipe to catch fighters by surprise.

Chuckster - stands still wherever they were summoned, and grabs then throws any fighter who goes near, even the summoner.

Prince Peasley - when summoned, he flips his hair to envelope the screen in a bright white, leaving everyone as light grey silhouettes and hiding items and hazards for a few seconds.

Fawful

M.C. Ballyhoo - temporarily applies a random effect on the stages' main platform such as Slippery, Electrified, or Poisoned.

Mallow

Funky Kong

Rambi - can be ridden by fighters to charge into items or other fighters.

Xananab - using his Spirowarp, makes multiple blackholes that hold fighters in place when they get too close. Sometimes, the black holes will shuffle around so that anything caught wont stay in the same place for too long.

Ghanti

Marin - sings a song that puts adjacent fighters to sleep.

Redead - slowly walks back and forth across the stage. If a fighter were to stand too close, they'll be ensnared by their grasp and be dealt with a lingering poison damage.

King Zora - Very slowly scoots around from where he was summoned. Impervious to most attacks, so use him as a Zora shield.

Midna & Wolf Link

Groose

Riju - taking the form of a Sage Avatar, she follows whoever summoned her, attempting to chain your attacks with her own electric strikes.

Tulin - lets whoever summoned him glide in the air and gives them an extra jump.

Yunobo - curls into a fiery ball to dash into opponents a few times.

Sidon - grants a water shield that protects the one who summoned him. It dissipates after a while or when it sustains enough damage.

Hudson - holds up half of a Hudson Construction Company sign, if anyone walks past him in the same direction of the sign, it will come crasging down on them, making them burried.

Metroid

Kraid - looms large on the foreground to rain down spiked projectiles.

E.M.M.I - slowly stalks the opponents of whoever summoned it, occasionally locks in on a singular fighter and chases it until cornered.

Reaper - slowly roams the stage. Whoever attacks it becomes its target as it summons assorted classic Kid Icarus enemies to swarm them.

Phosphora

Viridi

Glass Joe - stands in place to throw cowardly punches. Ridiculously easy to KO but has the rare chance to land devastating critical hits.

Emio - drops paper bag items on the group, whoever grabs it gets chased by the killer, but only as they're holding it. Gets progressively faster at chasing the more times an item has been picked up.

Samurai Goroh - when summoned, a rapidly flashing reticle appears on a random part of the stage, after a while, the Fire Stingray appears to crash onto the stage in reference to the Opening Movie of Super Smash Bros. Melee.

Jody Summer - a reticle appears on either side of the stage, signaling Jody's Machine's approach. After a while, the White Cat zooms across the screen, knocking aside anyone who gets hit with a devastating amount of damage. She tries to swipe the screeb twice before leaving.

Tom, Timmy, and Tommy - using their Nookphones, causes a barrage of items to rain down, occasionally, some cardboard boxes are thrown in that act as damaging projectiles.

Mr. Resetti

Buzz Buzz - flies across the stage, dealing flinching damage to whoever he flies into.

Starman

Dr. Andonauts - Transforms a random fighter into a Robot, slowing down an opponent and limiting their moves.

Duster - uses an assortment of thieves tools such as staples on walls or on the stage to make them climable. Also occasionally uses the Rope Snake to rope in opponents.

Waddle Doo - roams and does the beam attack, they'll surely get you this time.

Addeline

Daroach - tries to sneak away any stray items on the stage. If he snatches nothing, drops a crate that more often than not is explosive.

Susie

N

Iono - When summoned, a video screen appears on the top right of the foreground with Iono reacting to the fight. She can send in items to support fighters if you do a combo, recover from a fall, or successfully parry an attack.

Lyndis - like in previous Smash titles, Lyn charges the Manni Katti for a focused attack. But now she has a "cut in" flair behind her to more easily telegraph her strike.

Mike Jones (Startropics)

Doshin the Giant - Spawns in the background of the stage, he occasionally raises his hands for use as makeshift platforms.

Saki (Sin and Punishment)

Kukurin & Helirin - summons a rotating spacecraft that acts as both a platform and a hazard as it pushes things around.

Miku Hinasaki (Fatal Frame)

Qbby

Hero (Glory of Heracles)

Assistant (Style Savvy) - when summoned, a random assistant from the Style Savy series appears as a 2D asset in the foreground. They enter a thinking pose as a random fighter gets clothes and accessories plastered onto them, partially obscuring their visuals.

Tethu & Esna (Ever Oasis)

Jobski (Part Time UFO) - flies above the stage, occasionally zooming down to pick up items and fighters with a tractor beam.

Musashi (Sushi Strikers) - When summoned, two conveyor belt strips appear on the left and right sides of the foreground, Musashi will then throw Sushi at designated points trying to hit the belt. Try to steer clear of strays and don't get hit.

Jump Bunny (Jump Rope Challenge) - When summoned, a number appears above every fighter, if they don't jump enough to match the number above the stage in time, they get dealt a huge chunk of damage.
