Xet comes to Tex and tells him, "With my powerful mind, I will destroy your puny planet and take over the entire galaxy and name this planet, Xetopolis!" Tex is worried that Xet's destroying the world.

Tex holds a picture frame of Xet taking over the world. His friends were shocked that it's bad news. Beta has a plan. Beta says, "Okay, guys. All we have to do is team up together to stop the evil Xet destroying our town once and for all, but we need some tools powerful enough to stop him. I know, let's ask Tox for help."

Tex and his pals goes to Tex's childhood home, when they get into in the house and the whole living room is smelly by Uncle Rax, Tex, Tix, Tax, Tox, and Mox's dimwit and stinky uncle, twin brother, and in-law sister. who is sitting down, watching TV, and eating some Cheezy Bolts. Beta blocks the TV and tells Uncle Rax, "Uh, excuse me, sir, do you know where Tox?", Uncle Rax rudely saids this, "He's in the basement, so can you please move? I'm trying to watch my show." and he then proceeds to burp at Gomo's face causing him to gag. Tix saids this to his uncle, "Hey Uncle Rax, your breath stinks and you need a BREATH MINT!". He ignores Tex, Tix, Gadget, and his friends and turn the volume up with his remote and they came to the basement and head over to Tox, Tex's father and inventor, Beta tells Tox, "Hey, Tox, we need to stop Xet. He's destroying the world, OUR world! Can you make some inventions so we can stop villainy?" Tox says, "Hmm, maybe I should help. Tex and Tix, go find me some blueprints I want for making my latest invention, the Gega-Gun. They're five in total." Then Tex is off to find some blueprints. After defeating all the Bad Bots and collecting five blueprints, he faces off the first boss, the Giga Bot.

Tex gives the blueprints to Tox, and now the inventing begins. After the Gega-Gun is finished, Tox gives it to Tex and his friends. Tex and his friends now stop Xet but then escapes. Beta asks Tex, "What shall we do now? We can't lose him this far!" Then Tex has an idea, with his jetpack he can fly through big heights. So now Tex holds on to Beta and the gang with his jetpack and blasts off.

After the flying level, Tex and his friends now go to a school-themed land Bungletown, where there are more than eight citizens who need help. Tex has to talk to all of them in total so they should protect themselves from the evil Xet. After all the help, Tex goes to speech class to say his first words, "Hello! My name is Tex. We have to save the world." Following this, he and his gang face off Mecha Bot, the second boss.

When Mecha Bot is defeated, Tex and his friends visit a science laboratory, where they meet his mother and Database"s assistant, Mox, and Mox's professor scientist named Professor Database. They gives Tex an instructions manual to demonstrate a variety experiments. These include potions, a Jacob's ladder, an energy cable and more. After passing the test, Tex gets his moo can from Database's office next to his Newton's cradle.

At his tower, Xet and his Bad Bots are drinking beer and wine at the bar. He hires Monster Bot to track down Tex and his gang.

Back at Tex's factory, Tox, Mox, and Uncle Rax are watching football until Mox changes the channel to news and watches it. On television, Mr. Robotto reports a live news feed explaining about the chaos.

Tex and his friends travel to a junkyard-themed land called Scraptown where good robot citizens need more help. After that, the third boss, Monster Bot steals Tex's moo can. The hero robots first battle Crusher, his carnivorous dog. Later on, they battle Monster Bot.

After defeating Monster Bot and retrieving his moo can, Tex and his friends blast off into a space-themed land called Spacetown. They then come face to face with Astro Bot, another boss battle.

After fighting Astro Bot, Tex and his friends return to Texopolis, which is now changed to Xetopolis, the gang is furious about this, Xet created a giant robot called, the Destruct-inator. The Destruct-inator destroys many buildings in the city, so Tex and his friends tell the citizens to evacuate the area. After the boss, they fight against Xet himself.

Now that Xet is defeated, the world is saved, thanks to the big hero himself, Tex! The mayor of Texopolis grants Tex with a shiny gold medal with Tex's face on it. The crowd applause to Tex, the hero of Texopolis. Beta comes to Tex and says, "Congratulations, Tex. You are now our hero! And with Xet gone, the whole world is finally at peace! How can we repay you?" Mr. Robotto explains that Xet and Monster Bot are sent to Textropolis State Prison. Suddenly, Tex waves goodbye to his friend, hugs and waves goodbye to his family, and his dog.

Tex then goes back to his factory and pulls the switch to turn on the THX logo. After the THX logo is on, the Deep Note plays in the background. Tex flies to break the fourth wall to say, "Bye!" to the viewers and flies off. "The audience is listening" logo and credits appear at the end.
