Tank: Legend of the White Wolf (stylized as T.A.N.K.: Legend of the White Wolf) is an action adventure game released in 2002 for the XBOX, PlayStation 2, Windows and Macintosh. It was developed by Braintree Software as their final title and published by Sierra Entertainment.

Gameplay[]

After choosing your character, a male or female, you get to venture through a suburban neighborhood. Both characters are werewolves who could change at will, and you have to use specific forms to get by certain obstacles.

Once you beat both modes, a new story is unlocked.

Music Video[]

Within the game's files lies a music video produced by a band comprised of former programers from Braintree. The means of accessing it vary between the PC and console versions. On copies of the game for Windows and Macintosh, the video is present in the form of a file within a folder detailing the game's legal information (the video is under a file labeled "don't click".

On the XBOX and PlayStation 2 ports, in order to access the video, the player would have to go to the options menu, insert the controller into the second port and perform a code; on the PlayStation two, one would have to hit the buttons and analog sticks in the following pattern: L1, L2, R2, R1, Triangle, Circle, X, Square, right, rotate right analog stick clockwise, rotate left analog stick counter-clockwise, down, left, up, select and start. On the XBOX, hit left trigger, right trigger, y, b, a, x, black button, white button, rotate right thumbstick clockwise, move the d-pad right, down, left, up, rotate left thumbstick counter-clockwise, back and then hit start. Doing so, the screen would freeze and after ten seconds, the screen would brighten and a music video would play, detailing a band performing intercut with scenes of animals and people getting gruesomely murdered.

None of the band members' names were disclosed, but a group picture confirms their association with Braintree. What is known is that the video was meant to be a stealth promotion for a nu metal band, which never materialized.
