The Simpsons: Legend of Springfield is a 2017 role-playing video game developed by Square Enix, in collaboration with 20th Century Fox, and published by EA for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Microsoft Windows. Based on the American animated television series The Simpsons, Legend of Springfield follows The New Kid, who has moved to the eponymous town and becomes involved in an epic role-play fantasy war involving humans, wizards, and elves, who are fighting for control of the all-powerful Stick of Truth.

The Simpsons: Legend of Springfield is set in the fictional town Springfiled. The main character, whom the player controls, is the New Kid—named "Robin"—a silent protagonist who has recently moved to the town. Befriending the local kids, he (or she) becomes involved in an epic role-playing fantasy game featuring wizards and warriors battling for control of the Stick of Truth, a twig that possesses limitless power.
The humans, led by Warrior King Bart, make their home in the Kingdom of El Barto Keep, a makeshift camp built in The Simpsons backyard; among their number are paladin Milhouse, thief Nikki, knight Nelson, wizard Martin, Ralph, and princess Lisa. The humans' rivals are the elves, who live in the elven kingdom in the backyard of their leader, High Elf Allison; they also include the warrior Alex and Megan the bard. The kids conduct their game throughout the town, the surrounding forest. Locations from the show, including Springfield Elementary, Moe's Tavern, the Kwik-E-Mart, Nuclear Power Plant, and Krusty Burger, are featured in the game.
