The Simpsons Movie is an action-adventure video game based on the 2007 movie of the same name. It was published by Activision and developed by Traveller's Tales (with Eurocom's help), released in 2007 for the GameCube, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii and PlayStation Portable. The Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS versions were developed by Vicarious Visions. An Xbox port was planned, but was cancelled due to low sales for the system. It was produced to publicize the film and was released a week after the film debuted in theaters.
Summary[]
The combination of Homer, his new pet pig, and a leaky silo full of excrement triggers a disaster that threatens not just Springfield but the entire world. An angry mob descends on the Simpson home, splitting the family. With Earth's fate in the balance, Homer sets out on a quest for redemption in order to ready to battle of Springfield and earn Marge's forgiveness.
