These are the rules for this very wiki. If you are new here, then it is highly recommended that you read the rules before contributing to the wiki. Breaking the rules, unintentionally or not, will result in a warning by the admins. A ban will ensue if a rule is broken multiple times or if it is combined with any other rule.
Rules
- Rule #1: No vandalism - Vandalizing is adding or removing content without consent from the creator beforehand. (2 week ban)
- Rule #2: No plagiarism - This wiki does not approve the use of plagiarizing pages from other sources. This may include content from other users in the wiki, along with content from other pages. (2 week ban)
- Rule #3: Do not spam - Spamming refers to creating massive amounts of pointless content that can be taken in the form of comments, pages, images, etc. (Infinite ban)
- Rule #4: No sockpuppetting - Sockpuppetting refers to creating more than one account either to escape a ban, or to start over. An exception will be given if you have forgotten the password for your account or if something happened to your previous account. (Infinite ban)
- Rule #5: Do not upload/create NSFW content - Pretty self-explanatory. NSFW (not safe for work) content includes, but is not limited to uploading an image with genitalia or other private parts, along with publishing explicit sexual scenes, whether it may be text or an image. We do not want a situation in which a minor accidentally stumbles upon said NSFW content. (Infinite ban)
- Rule #6: No bullying - Bullying, harassing or attacking other users by sending them mean messages are not acceptable, so please be respectful to everyone. (Infinite ban)
- Rule #7: Do not start an edit war - An edit war is a situation in which two users repeatedly undo each other's content. If you wish to prevent a potential edit war, it is recommended that a new page must be made. (Infinite ban)
- Rule #8: Limit swearing - Swearing is accepted as long as it isn't used too often. (1 week ban)
- Rule #9: Avoid trolls - Trolls are users who will make fun of other users for their own amusement. Do not engage in any behavior with those types of users, as administrators will take care of the situation. (1 week ban)
- Rule #10: Stay on-topic - This applies to pages, comments, and talk pages. This is a wiki purely to make content about or relating to video games. (2 week ban)
- Rule #11: No discrimination - Do not display any sort of prejudice towards any demographic (i.e., LGBT, people of color, users with disabilities). Any use of slang against a demographic is highly discouraged. (Infinite ban)
- Rule #12: Do not share links to illegal content - For the safety of our users, please do not link any website that contains illegal content, such as from pirate or torrent websites. (Infinte ban)
- Rule #13: Never reveal any personal information - We understand that privacy is important. Therefore, any personal information should not be posted on the wiki for the safety of all users. If any such information is posted, then a ban will ensue. We also do not condone any user revealing another user's information. (Infinite ban)
- Rule #14: Use talk pages appropriately - Like Rule #10, a talk page should only be used for communication between one user and another. Please do not use them for something else such as an article, gallery, blog etc. (1 week ban)
- Rule #15: Never start drama - We want all users on this wiki to be civilized and not engage in any sort of drama. Mentioning drama from other wikis is prohibited, as we do not want users importing drama from a wiki to here. (Infinite ban)
- Rule #16: No "Cancelled game" articles - Creating a cancelled game is considered spamming as most pages will share the same amount of text. (2 week ban)
- Rule #17: No AI-generated content - Content generated by AI (i.e. images or text) is frowned upon as it is not creative, so we encourage all users to be creative. (Infinite if they continue to create such content)
- Rule #18: Do not recreate articles that were deleted - Pages that have been deleted must not be created once again, as it is considered spamming. If you wish to recreate an article, ask the admins for permission to do so. (2 week ban)
- Rule #19: No live-action games - For privacy reasons as stated in Rule #13, live-action games are forbidden. (2 week ban)
- Rule #20: Do not post links to file downloads - Similar to Rule #12, it is impossible to if a download link is malware or not. (Infinite ban)
